Congressman Mo Brooks Sworn in for Sixth Term
Washington, DC - Sunday, Congressman Mo Brooks (AL-05) was sworn in as a member of the 117th Congress of the United States. This is Congressman Brooks’ sixth term as Alabama’s Fifth Congressional District representative in Congress. He took his first Congressional oath on January 3, 2011.
Congressman Brooks said, “I am deeply humbled and honored that Tennessee Valley citizens have again entrusted me as their voice in Washington. As such, I will continue the fight for financial responsibility, national security, free-enterprise, liberty, and honest and accurate elections.”
Brooks continued, “I thank Tennessee Valley citizens for the honor and responsibility they have bestowed on me. I pledge to continue doing my best to protect and promote the foundational principles that have empowered American citizens to make America the greatest, wealthiest, freeist, and strongest nation in world history.”
