Alabama Republican Party Overwhelmingly Declares Congressman Mo Brooks a "Rare True Statesman"

March 1, 2021
Press Release

Washington, DC— On Saturday at its Winter meeting, and much to the chagrin of Socialist Democrats, their Fake News Media allies, and “RINO” “Surrender Caucus” Republicans everywhere, the 469* members and leaders of the Alabama Republican Party governing body overwhelmingly passed two resolutions commending Congressman Mo Brooks (AL-05) for leading the fight in Congress against voter fraud and election theft and for honest and accurate elections.

The two resolutions are entitled "Resolution Commending Congressman Mo Brooks" (overwhelmingly passed on an 86% to 14% vote) and "Resolution Expressing Appreciation for Senator Tommy Tuberville, Congressman Mo Brooks, and Members of the Republican Delegation" (passed on an overwhelming voice vote).

Highlights of the Resolutions are:

“Congressman Mo Brooks has consistently espoused in Congress, and on behalf of the people of Alabama, those values embraced by our founding documents that promote patriotism, fiscal responsibility and Christian morality.”

“Mo Brooks is a national leader in the fight against the Socialist agenda of the Democrat Party and is recognized as a rare true statesman among an assemblage of politicians.”

“Congressman Mo Brooks, by extensive action on the House floor, and in his January 6, 2021 and subsequent speeches, boldly led the charge against suppression of First Amendment free speech rights, monopolization of media platforms leading toward outright censorship, and voter and election fraud.”

“The Alabama Republican Executive Committee commends Congressman Mo Brooks for his bold leadership and outstanding service to the people of the State of Alabama and the United States.”

Congressman Brooks said, “It is gratifying to know that no matter how scurrilously and viciously Socialist Democrats, the Fake News Media, and the RINO Republican 'Surrender Caucus' attack my good name, so many knowledgeable and informed Alabamians stand with me in our fight to protect the foundational principles that have made America the greatest nation in world history. In particular, I thank the Alabama Republican Party for recognizing that voter fraud and election theft undermine our Republic and that we must restore honest and accurate elections at all costs.  My response to the leadership of the Alabama Republican Party is simple.  Thank you for having my back in this fight for America!"

Brooks continued, "Alabamians are smart enough to reject the Fake News, Socialist Democrat and Republican “Surrender Caucus” false claims that give cover to those who weaken election safeguards, exploit weaknesses in voter ID, engage in fraud-prone mail in ballot schemes, and violate the U.S. Constitution requirement that only Congress and state legislatures have authority over the 'times, places and manner' of elections (Article 1, Section 4). Alabama citizens demand that elected officials stand against systemic flaws in America’s election system that allow voter fraud and election theft. I pledge to Alabama that, as long as I am an elected official, I will fight for honest and accurate elections.”

Brooks concluded, “I wear the Alabama Republican Party support resolutions as a badge of honor. No amount of Socialist Democrat, Fake News Media, or RINO “Surrender Caucus” attacks will deter me from standing up for our Republic. It is very comforting to know that loyal American citizens and patriotic Republicans have my back. Thank you!”

* The Alabama Republican Committee has 469 members. Saturday’s quorum was 361.
